Avec une approche qui relève de la sociologie politique et de l’anthropologie, dans une démarche d’analyse localisée et comparative s’appuyant sur un nombre restreint d’acteurs, l’objectif de ma thèse, consiste à étudier l’entrée dans le champ politique, ainsi que l’exercice du métier politique, par les élus issus des communautés asiatiques (Chine, Vietnam, Cambodge et Laos), au sein des exécutifs locaux en Île-de-France, tant dans la territorialisation de l’action publique que dans la construction symbolique du territoire comme espace de mise en scène politique.
Local elected officials of Asian origin in Île-de-France. Networks, roles, and the practice of the political profession.

With an approach rooted in political sociology and anthropology, employing a localized and comparative analysis based on a limited number of actors, the objective of my thesis is to study the entry into the political field, as well as the practice of the political profession, by elected officials from Asian communities (China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos) within local executives in Île-de-France. This includes both the territorialization of public action and the symbolic construction of the territory as a space for political staging.
