BORONSKA-HRYNIEWIECKA Karolina

Karolina Borońska-Hryniewiecka is a professor of political science at the Institute of Political Science and a member of the Jean Monnet Chair of the University of Wrocław. Her research interests revolve around the topics of the European Union institutional reform and democratic legitimacy with the special focus on the role of parliamentary actors in EU policy-making.
In the past she has been a visiting fellow at the Centre d’études européennes et de politique comparée of the Sciences Po (2019-2020), visiting lecturer at Université Paris Assas (2018, 2020), postdoctoral lecturer at the Masaryk University (2014-2015) and Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (2012-2013). She also headed the EU Programme at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (2016-2018).
As a visiting fellow at CESSP, she collaborates with Guillaume Sacriste and Antoine Vauchez within the research project on political preferences of members of parliaments towards EU economic governance and institutional reforms.
